Intimate Wedding at The Lofthouse

For Kate + Alex’s intimate wedding day I was so thrilled to be able to work with a Denver based elopement planner, Sydney with Wildly in Love! Sydney helped translate their goals and aesthetic so well for their intimate wedding day — it gave me all the tools I needed to create these beautiful pieces! Some of which I think will always be favorites of mine.

There were so many flowers that not only stuck out but complemented each other so well throughout the design. All the greens we used were very nontraditional including a variety of ferns, honeysuckle and wild smilax! The honeysuckle was such a soft color and created movement that worked so well in each of their pieces — not to mention it smelled amazing.

Their flowers included a few varieties that you may not have expected but these mums and carnations I picked just held the perfect tones to complement their color palette and the landscape. Truly became a favorite recipe!

And to top it all off, Claire Hunt Photography captured everything so beautifully and didn’t leave out any detail. From the tablescape topped off with garland to the bridal bouquet — I was so thrilled to see how Kate + Alex enjoyed their pieces throughout their wedding day.
